The Laboratory of Ecological and Evolutionary Genetics has as main activity research with Neotropical fish. Using tools of classical and molecular cytogenetics, molecular markers, transcriptomics, genomics and mitochondrial sequences, we seek to understand the origin and evolution of the biodiversity of freshwater fish.
